The good news is lots of businesses are hosting free (or low cost) activities this summer and I’ve rounded up the best ones for you.

Hobbycraft – Summer Workshops
Hobbycraft are awesome for kids! This summer holidays they are running a huge range of workshops at a super affordable price. From puppet making to painting to slime making, the range is huge and you will find something your little one would be interested in.
It’s super easy to book onto a workshop and they keep the class sizes super small so it’s a lovely (and budget friendly) way to spend an afternoon.

Pets At Home – PET PALS
Pets At Home are running free workshops every single day over the Easter holidays where your little ones can meet and greet all kinds of animals.
Ideal for kids aged 4 to 10, your little one will get time to play with the animals plus learn all about how to care for them from a pet expert. And your kid will leave with a sticker and personalised certificate.
Each workshop lasts up to 45 minutes and you simply need to reserve a place online. Limited to one adult per child.
DOBBIES – Little Seedlings Summer Holiday Club
Dobbies garden centers are hosting a Little Seedlings Summer Holiday Club where your little one can get fully involved. The workshops are Gabby’s Dollhouse themed and include fairy stories, activities and a short lesson on how to be a nature guardian.
Workshops need to be booked in advanced and are hosted on throughout the summer holidays across a range of their stores.

Apple Summer Camp
Across the summer holidays and throughout their stores, Apple are hosting Summer Camp workshops. These last 90 minutes and your little one gets to great a superhero on one of the shop iPads.
This is a fun (and free) interactive workshop suited for kids aged 6 to 10 years old.
Kids Eat Free Schemes
